Over 17 million transactions are conducted through Alberta Registries each year, including the issuing and renewing of drivers’ licences, registrations of birth, marriage and death, land title searches and transfers, and registrations of corporations, vehicles, and liens. The majority of these services are available from registry agents located in communities throughout the province.

An increasing number of services are also available online. For example, Albertans may now renew most passenger vehicles through the Internet, many related forms can be downloaded from the Service Alberta website and Registries On-Line provides authorized users with electronic access to pertinent information from the land titles, personal property and corporate registries.

For more information about registry services, go to the frequently asked questions section on this site, visit a registry agent or call Alberta Registries (780-427-7013).
