Information Services

Information Services consists of four areas:

Service Delivery provides the following services to government ministries

  • print
  • mail and logistics
  • library 
  • telecommunications
  • office equipment
  • building access and government ID card services

Records and Information Management administers the government's records management program, leads the implementation of the Information Management Framework and provides records and information management services to ministries.

Policy and Governance  administers the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act  and Personal Information Protection Act , coordinates departmental FOIP requests, and manages policy development and legislative changes related to Service Alberta’s many acts and regulations.

Audit and Investigations is responsible for conducting audits on the Registry Agent Network and under consumer legislation, completing investigations to maintain the integrity of the registry databases, and administering contracts governing the release of registries information.
