Youth Poster Competition

Young Albertans are very actively involved in the consumer marketplace. Every day they are confronted with a wide range of choices and decisions. Is a contract really final? How many people can share an apartment? Does anyone have information about buying used cars? Where do people find answers to consumer questions?

This poster competition encourages young people to learn about their consumer rights and responsibilities and protect themselves from the risks of identity theft, renting a place of their own, consumer contracts, internet shopping and buying a car.

The competition is open to youth ages 15 to 18.

Entrants must design an original poster and complete a research questionnaire to become eligible for awards of $1,000, $500 or $250.
